Preserving Our Soil. Protecting Our Cows. Securing Our Future.

Godham Krishi is dedicated to building a sustainable ecosystem where cow protection, healthy soil, natural farming and environmental conservation go hand in hand.

We believe that preserving our soil means preserving the food security of future generations.

For more than a decade, we have been working towards cow protection, promoting natural and cow-based farming practices, developing nature-friendly products and inspiring farmers, goshala owners, youth and communities to reconnect with sustainable traditions.

Our vision is simple — healthier cows, healthier soil, healthier farms and a healthier future.

About Godham Krushi

For thousands of years, cows and bulls have been an integral part of Indian agriculture, rural life and culture. They were not merely livestock, but an important part of a self-sustaining agricultural ecosystem.

Today, changing agricultural practices, increasing dependence on external inputs and declining soil health have created serious challenges for farmers and the environment.

We currently care for more than 70 cows and bulls, including animals that require ongoing care and support. Over the years, we have rescued and protected more than 500 cows, bulls and calves.

Our Core Philosophy

Years of intensive chemical-dependent agriculture can affect soil health, biodiversity and the natural balance of agricultural ecosystems. We believe that restoring soil health through natural and sustainable practices is essential for the long-term future of farming.

Sustainable Farming

For generations, Indian agriculture developed around an interconnected system of soil, crops, animals, farmers and nature.

The cow and bull played an important role in this ecosystem.

Cow dung and urine have traditionally been used in agriculture as sources of organic matter and agricultural inputs, while products derived from the cow have also been an important part of rural life.

Our scriptures and traditional knowledge have expressed the cultural importance of cow dung through the phrase:

“गोमय वसते लक्ष्मी”

meaning “Lakshmi resides in cow dung.”
